چکیده
The present research study was designed to evaluate the effect of zinc supplementation on body weight, serum triglyceride, cholesterol, glucose homeostasis, oxidative stress, and hepatic function in mice. Mice were treated with sulphate at an equivalent weight 6.5 mg/kg-body elemental for four weeks. Bodyweight, glucose, MDA, nitric oxide, vitamin C, enzymes level determined end period. Data from this showed that mice maintained a balanced blood homeostasis throughout experimental Moreover, treatment significant (p <0.05) decrease triglyceride cholesterol along compared control. Treatment significantly attenuated rate lipid peroxidation whereas increased C NO level. protective liver activity observed. strong negative association total (r= -0.934, p = 0.02), triglycerides -0.709, 0.05), -0.899, 0.01). findings demonstrate can be helpful maintain ameliorate hyperlipidemia, dysfunction. Therefore, suggested alleviate diseases associated metabolic syndrome stress.

Zinc Supplementation Improves Glucose Homeostasis in High Fat-Fed Mice by Enhancing Pancreatic β-Cell Function
Zinc is an essential component of the insulin granule and it possibly modulates insulin secretion and signaling. Since insulin resistance is a hallmark in the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus, this study aimed at investigating if zinc supplementation is able to improve glucose tolerance and β-cell function in a model of insulin resistance. Male C57BL/6 mice were distributed in four group...

Introduction: Glucose, cholesterol, low density lipoprotein (LDL-c), triglyceride, and high density lipoprotein (HDL-c) are the related biochemical factors to diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. The present study aimed to assess the seasonal changes in serum levels of these factors in healthy individuals. Materials and methods: In the present applied study, demographic information and writte...
